I hate when they show the ref cam during the play. Only one camera should be used during play and that's the one at centre ice.

But the ref cam does do a good job showing what the ref sees and doesn't see. And it clearly showed that (frank)-face clearly saw Kadri get boarded directly in front of him and he didn't make the call.

If ever there was a time to hold officials accountable, the ref cam showing exactly what they see, is it.

it's an unprofessional looking angle but i like that it allows you to really see how much space is out there. it'd harder to tell how close players are to each other with the standard view.

This is what I call a texbook Matt Cooke. Blatant blindside hit, targeting the head of his opponent, with ZERO regard for players safety. Kadri is a dirty hockey player. To this point the #NHL has done sweet (frank) all to curb his behavior

leafs played a solid road game all game. to say the other team shouldnt have any scoring chances or take aways isnt realistic. especially when theyre coming off a horrible loss and looking to rebound right out of the gate. leafs patience was key. that and not giving habs many chances in close. solid game.

hit on kadri was more dirty than hit by kadri a bit later on..

surprise surprise - marner gets 5mins with matthews and matthews scores 2 goals assisted by marner. hyman / brown - matthews - marner should be leafs' first line; nylander to center his own line. (prob marleau - nylander - brown next year).

freddy reimer back to regular nhl starter level - what should be his normal level.

rielly helped alot by playing with hainsey.
gardiner unfortunately back to his old self.
zaitsev still good game.

leafs didn't even care to seek to get even after a few dirty / late hits by habs - felt it was just not worth it. pk trade will haunt habs for years
